Clinical Hypnosis with Psychotherapy

A 12-week ONLINE weight release program. Just as I did for myself and check out what I’ve achieved over the past twelve months. Do this in the comfort of your own home being guided by me, who KNOWS first hand your frustrations and the pain of being fat, frumpy and uncomfortable.  The photos are evidence of my journey and guess what, I now LOVE Bootcamp!!  You can begin to live the life you want and over a twelve-week program, you’ll change the neuropathways of your brain to make this a successful and long-term solution.  Check out my qualifications further down, so you KNOW you are being guided by someone who meets all the educational requirements necessary to be registered as a clinical hypnotherapist (not someone who has done a three-day course with no testing which some people do and then call themselves a hypnotherapist, unfortunately). Keep your eyes open as this course will be made available in January 2018.

What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis explanation from Uncommon Knowledge

According to the “Better Health Channel”: Hypnosis, also known as hypnotherapy, is a method of inducing a trance or a dream-like state of deep relaxation in order to treat disorders of a mainly psychological or emotional origin. It has been practised in various forms for thousands of years by many cultures including Druid, Celtic and Egyptian. In the 19th and early 20th centuries, hypnosis (or ‘mesmerism’) was seen more as a sideshow curiosity than a valid medical treatment.

Today, hypnosis is recognised by the scientific community as an effective healing tool, although how it works is still something of a mystery. It is not a treatment in its own right, but is used as a part of medical, psychological and dental treatments.

What is Psychotherapy?

According to Medilexicon’s medical dictionary, psychotherapy is “Treatment of emotional, behavioural, personality, and psychiatric disorders based primarily on verbal or nonverbal communication and interventions with the patient, in contrast to treatments using chemical and physical measures.” Simply put, psychotherapy aims to alleviate psychological distress through talking, rather than drugs.

Psychotherapy is commonly used for psychological problems that have had a number of years to accumulate. It only works if a trusting relationship can be built up between the client and the psychotherapist
